Privacy Notice

Effective date: June 28, 2026 · Provider: BrightNoon

BrightNoon (“we,” “us”) provides career-document and interview-preparation services. This Privacy Notice explains how we handle your personal information under Korea’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). We collect only the minimum information needed to deliver the service you ask for. You accept this Notice and the Terms of Service at the start (a single “by continuing you agree” action) before any materials are collected.

1. What we collect, and why

We process personal information only to provide the service you purchase, communicate with you about it, process payment and refunds, and meet our legal record-keeping duties:

We do not sell your personal information and do not use it to train AI models.

2. How long we keep it, and how we delete it

We keep your materials only as long as needed to deliver your service and any included revision, then delete them within 90 days of completion — unless a law requires us to keep certain records longer:

(required by the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce). When the period ends, we delete electronic files irreversibly and shred any printouts.

3. Overseas processing

To run the service we rely on a few trusted providers that process your information only on our instructions. Some are located outside Korea (mainly the United States), so this is a cross-border transfer of the items in Section 1, made to perform your contract and disclosed to you here under PIPA Art. 28-8(1)3 (no separate consent box is required):

Each provider is bound to protect your data and to use it only to provide its service to us. We keep this list current as our tools change.

4. We don’t share with third parties

We do not provide your personal information to any third party for their own purposes. The providers in Section 3 act only on our behalf.

5. Sensitive information and ID numbers

We do not ask for sensitive information or national ID / passport numbers, and you should not include them in your materials. If you choose to include sensitive information anyway, by submitting it you consent to our processing it solely to deliver your service, and you may withdraw that consent at any time.

6. Children

Our service is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly process the personal information of a child under 14; if we learn we have, we delete it without delay.

7. Your rights

You may ask us at any time to access, correct, delete, or stop processing your information, or to withdraw consent — and a legal guardian may exercise these on a minor’s behalf. Just email us (Section 11); we’ll verify your identity and respond within the time the law allows. We extend these rights to all clients, wherever you live.

8. AI and human review

We use AI tools to help draft your documents, but a person reviews and finalizes everything before it reaches you — no decision affecting you is made by software alone. You’re welcome to ask what role AI played in your materials.

9. Cookies

Our website does not use cookies or behavioral tracking for advertising. If we add basic usage analytics later, we’ll update this notice; you can always manage cookies in your browser settings.

10. How we protect your data

We limit access to what’s needed to do the work, keep a separate folder per client on secured accounts, bind our providers to data-protection terms, and minimize what we collect. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the competent authority of a breach as required by law.

11. Privacy contact

For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights, email contact@brightnooncareers.com. We’re a small business and will respond to you directly.
